2026 Toyota Crown
Crown is Toyota's lifted midsize sedan alternative to Camry for buyers who want a more formal stance and strong hybrid efficiency. Trade-offs: less conventional sedan proportions than Camry; shoppers needing three rows should look at Grand Highlander/Highlander instead.
What's confirmed (EPA 2026)
From the Toyota Crown EPA model page:
- Crown AWD 2.4L (AV-S6): 30 mpg combined (29 city / 32 highway)
- Crown Hybrid AWD 2.5L: 41 mpg combined (42 city / 41 highway)
Practical notes
Hybrid AWD is the efficiency headline in the EPA table. Gas turbo AWD sits in the low-30s combined — still usable, but not Camry Hybrid LE territory. Cross-shop Camry Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and Crown Signia if you want wagon/crossover packaging.
