2026 Hyundai Santa Fe

Santa Fe is Hyundai's three-row SUV for buyers who want feature content and warranty messaging in the Pilot/Telluride neighborhood. Trade-offs: verify hybrid availability vs gas trims on the window sticker.

What's confirmed

Hyundai USA lists EPA estimates for 2026 Santa Fe gas FWD about 20/29/24 city/hwy/combined and HTRAC AWD about 20/28/23 (with some AWD rows lower).

EPA model page also shows combined figures including 24, 23, 21 mpg gas-class rows and hybrid-class rows around 34–36 mpg combined (city/hwy examples 37/36 and 35/34 on hybrid rows). Use the exact EPA string for the powertrain you buy.

Practical notes

Hybrid is the efficiency argument; XRT-style packaging costs mpg. Cargo with third row up/down should be measured against Pilot and Telluride in person.

Safety

IIHS maintains a 2026 Santa Fe ratings page (redesign 2024; belt updates noted for later builds). Cite that page for the full matrix — DriveRevu Safety axis Score pending.
