2026 Honda Accord
The Accord remains Honda's midsize-sedan case for buyers who want usable rear space without jumping to a crossover. The main fork is gas simplicity versus hybrid efficiency — not theater.
What's confirmed (EPA)
From fueleconomy.gov 2026 Honda listings:
- Accord 1.5L gas: 32 mpg combined (29 city / 37 highway)
- Accord SE 1.5L gas: 31 mpg combined (28/36)
- Accord Hybrid: 48 mpg combined (51/44)
- Accord Hybrid Sport/Touring: 44 mpg combined (46/41)
Practical notes
Hybrid EX-L-class efficiency is the standout; Sport/Touring hybrids trade a few mpg for wheels/trim mass. Cross-shop Camry hybrid and mainstream crossovers if you need ride height more than sedan packaging.
